I just installed FS9 (finally). But have a prob, for any default aircraft the panel appears blank - however when panels are aliased, they appear fine for a while, then blank out.I know I should download 'drivers' but am not sure which ones to get. I have a 5600 card and WinXP - can anyone help.Also, AI contrails fall from the sky - is there a patch for thisThanks;RTC(got to find the sig. URL again!)

Hi,I've read about the problem with contrails before. How many .fx files do you have with the word 'contrail' in it in your 'Effects' folder? I've read the cure is to remove any extras out of that folder besides the two that came with FS2004, which are...fx_contrail_l.fxfx_contrail_s.fxYou could try removing any extra ones to a Temp folder and see if that helps I suppose.
