All,Well, after many revisions, I just uploaded the file to the AVSIM Library. I do not know how long it takes to appear after I upload. The file name should be: cs27tutorialfs9.zipI hope it helps you all enjoy Captain Sim's excellent product.Thank to Blais, Mikka, and Bruce for all their help. Thanks to Captain Sim as well for detailed documentation and a fantastic aircraft.Good Flying, Mike Stinchfield

Thank you so much, Mike. I hope they get it out quickly.sj

Nice one, Mike!....I'll be looking out for it in the file libraryTheir 727 is a great aircraft and this tutorial will be a big help I'm sure :-)CheersDave

All, Looks like it takes a while to show. It is my first upload. What is it like a 24 hour turn-around usually?Good Flying,Mike

Since I purchased the CS727 (I was one of those who pre-paid) I have never completed a flight in it. (To be honest, I load it up and end up using my hat switch to view the model).Hopefully your tutorial will help me get into the air.

Hi,Thanks for making a manual Mike. I look forward to checking it out even though I already know how to fly the bird fairly well. I haven't ever done a start-up from cold and dark but I have completed numerous flights. It is a great plane isn't it!Cheerio,Jim

Just checked, it is there.Have fun.Mike

Bumping this up for greater visibility. Too much time invested to let it go unseen:)Mike

Hi Again Mike,I downloaded and read through your tutorial, and then printed it out, all 60 pages. Whew! I have not had the chance to use it in the sim yet though as I am currently working on my own little tutorial. But I must say, it looks to me like I'll be getting a lot more out of my CS L727 thanks to you and your helpers. Thanks Mike! :-waveJimHello Tower, I need clearance Clarence. Roger Victor what's your vector?

Hello Again Mike,I just wanted to say WOW! Fantastic tutorial. I went through it once and starting engines from cold and dark it was really cool. I did mess up and didn't get the callouts during take-off, but I will be going through and using your tutorial a number of times. Learned a lot about the navigation and instruments from using it too. :-coolThanks for making it and sharing the wealth. Captain Sim should be thankful too if you ask me!Cheers!Jim

Jim,Thanks for the compliments.Remember several things will cause the takeoff voice call-outs to fail. I am betting it is one of these that happened to you:1. Most common issue with this: you did not advance the throttles all the way to max right away on takeoff. Unrealistic but the voice callouts will not work without it.2. You may have advanced the throttle with the brakes on, this will also cause it.3. Make sure you open the voice panel and make sure you have the 5 white lights at the bottom (first 4 are important last one does not matter).Hope the next flight goes better!Mike
