Remove All Red Line Messages and Warnings?

Featured Replies

Hello,This question is regarding the new FS2004 CoF.I do know how to remove the parking brakes message permanently...However, I would like to remove all incidents of red line messages in the buttom left corner of the screen, e.g. the recording message when recording flight videos. Thanks in advance.NicoPS. Yes, I know that I cannot see the messages, if I remove them, but that is the purpose, thanks!

Find the section shown below in your FS9 cfg file and add the entry HideInfoText=1 to it :(MAIN)Maximized=0Location=0,-23,800,567HideMenuNormal=0HideMenuFullscreen=1HideInfoText=1<--------add thisthis will remove all the red text messages.

Outstanding!Thank you very much for your reply. Just what I needed.CheersNico

This gets rid of the text but it make strack IR unusable. Any other suggestions?

There is a way to edit what text you see on screen. For example, I got rid of the dumb "main exit now opening" message completely, but reduced the "parking brake on" message to a less obtrusive "pb".You use a freeware program called resource hack.
