Hi All,Is it possible to have the runway lights on during the day in COF?I am sure they are on during the day at real airports but i may be wrong. Is there something i can change in the cfg files to make them appear? Many thanksMike.

>I am sure they are on during the day at real airports but i>may be wrong. For what it's worth, more times than not runway lights (not to be confused with a VASI or PAPI) are ~not~ on at real airports during the day._____________________________Jeff S. KDTWPilot - Instrument Rated

Jeff - you're right, most of the times they are off ecxept when the pilot request runway lights because of bad visibility. In FS you have to wait for the visibility to drop to 5 mi before the approach lights will come on and 2 mi before runway lights come on.I've posted previous messages on this unrealistic function because if it is as real as it gets then you will be able to request runway lights from the tower, even more realistic will be 3 clicks on the Tx on Tower freq to light up the runway in bad visibility and the most realistic will be to even ask for 70% or 60% dim on the lights. It's hard to explain why the developers of MSFS would have ignored this simple request since FS98. Many emails and requests. Still no joy.Thank goodness for people like SimFlyers and Lago that have a freq on NAV2 to enable runway lights! Well, maybe in FS2008 ... :-)RegardsT
