Okay, so documents support that VoxATC and MyTraffic X work together, but I haven't found anything on how they interact!I am using both in Windows 7 64 bit, and both work together. VoxATC was installed first, then MyTraffic X. Ran Vox indexer.They work, VoxATC is controlling MyTraffic according to the VoxATC slider, but what I want to know is...How much control does VoxATC have? Does changing Mytraffic settings do anything? It is to my understanding VoxATC just uses the planes from MyTraffic's install and does everything on its own.I guess I would just like to know what is the combination of the two capable of?My Goal in FSX is to get my Aerosoft UScities Chicago KORD (with newly added runway) controlled and full of the correct AI traffic while usingmultiple active runways! *** Any help, or points to the right direction would be appreciated!! *****Current situation; Sitting at KORD (aerosoft scenery) with 40% AI traffic (via Vox) coming and going in communication with Vox, one problem, KORD is the only airport with traffic. All neighboring airports (KDPA, KMDW) and smaller ones don't have any traffic going in or out. Any Ideas???On thought I had was the scenery add on is interfering, will test other city (default scenery) to see what happens.

Tucker1003,I will try to answer these questions as best I can, as I also use My Traffic X 5.3 together with VoxATC.How much control does VoxATC have?VoxATC has all control of ALL traffic and generates a kind of 'generic' traffic without using MYT schedules.Does changing Mytraffic settings do anything?Changing schedules will change nothing. Any Ideas???Besure to place My Traffic X under Addon Scenery in the FSX Scenery Library.Also, I usually move all AF2* and BR2* files away from the MYT scenery folder.Be sure not to have any other traffic files active, e.g. from sceneries.

Thanks so much mhlarsen! I don't plan on playing with MyTraffic settings at all now. I'll double check my scenery placement, but I know I installed MyTraffic first. I tested yesterday 2 scenarios. KBMI to KORD (outside of addon scenery zone into the scenery zone) Heavy traffic (mostly on ground a couple landing) at KBMI. A couple of issues at KBMI; had a few Heavier planesparked, even some landing. Its a regional airport and really doesn't see anythign bigger then CRJ. Departure Runway was02, and even though Vox was controlling all traffic, I got the all clear for takeoff with a plane on final for runway 29. Coming into KORD I was pretty much alone except 1 other plane landing with me. KORD ground was a busy bee hive! Landing 32L, got instructions to turn LEFT to nearest taxiway, problem no taxiway on left side, at least at the new airport config (consulted the plates on the web afterwards).Not 100% certain but pretty sure that hasn't changed from the default KORD (if someone is willing to check the left side of 32L), but taxiway instructions were correct."using Tango".I am unfamiliar with the AF2* and BR2* files, could you please direct me in this process?? Apparently I forgot my 2nd scenario. KLAX (because it is still default scenery) to Long Beach, a small hop. KLAX very active on ground with planes starting to take off.Near by Airports still dead, no static aircraft either. Does VoxATC start all AI traffic on the ground, or are there some in mid flight? I would expect the skies would be teaming with planes inthe busy cities.could my scenery display settings be messing with me? Does that have anything to do with AI?I will be taking this one step at a time, but just for knowledge base her is what I am running on my Server PC. I am only working off my serverPC right now, to get everything the way I want it, then I'll concern myself with the client PCs.WideView WideTraffic < there are settings in here concerning traffic, I will investigate, but this program sends all the traffic data to the clients, not sure it would matter.VoxATCMyTraffic XAerosoft UScities Chicago

Tucker1003,I am unfamiliar with the AF2* and BR2* files, could you please direct me in this process??You have to search the My Traffic X folder under FSX for files starting with AF2 or BR2, then move them to a safe place for backup as there are quite a few.How do I check active traffic files????My Traffic X will disable your FSX default traffic, but try searching for 'traffic' in your FSX folder.Again move to a safe place. Many sceneries come with their own traffic file.
