October 7, 200322 yr Hi Guys,In these days of complaints of poor tech service and reliable vendor relations, I've just gotta put in a plug for GoFlight's performance on both accounts. Here's what happened.After seeing their great lineup at the AVSIM conference, I ordered several components. Shortly after hooking things up, I found the Altitude function on the Autopilot module would work some times and not other times. I thought that I must be doing something out of sequence or whatever. So, I called their Tech Service. Not only did the techie answer the phone after about two rings, he assured me I wasn't doing anything wrong, but that it appeared to be an intermittant problem. He then promised an immediate replacemet .Here's another full service effort. The equipment came with a small size CD with a version number higher than that listed on their web site. Unfortunately, my full size CD unit doesn't have a centering plug so I couldn't utilize it and had to download the previous version. It worked OK, but in contacting GoFlight, I suggested they send me an attachment to an email with the updated version. Instead, they said they'd send a full size disk immediately.Now I ask you: how may times have you been treated like that?Regards, John Membrino

October 8, 200322 yr Hi,You must be lucky.I have 2 emails (a 2nd followup after 3 days) and still no reply from simflyers in trying to install their KLAX into FS2004. It stays in demo mode even though I have a valid key and have followed the instructions exactly.Emails were very polite but no response. I notice others are having similar problems and also not getting any response.It is fustrating when I have brought nearly every airport they have produced but can't even get a reply to an email.
October 8, 200322 yr I have to add my kudoos to GoFlight as well. I have their full complement of equipments and over the past year or so of dealing with them, I have always received quick and competent responses, both email and direct phone contact.This is a small outfit but their products and customer relations are first rate, surpassing that of larger companies and staffs. More power to them and may they succeed in their endeavors in every way.Larry S.
