Fs2004 scenery in 2k2

Featured Replies

I know this may have been asked but i cannot find it when i do a search. i was just wondering if you can move the scenery from 2k4 to 2k2 and maybe perhaps clouds too. if so can someone tell me how? thx

Can't move airports from FS2004, they are in a different file format which packages the AFD data along with the airport visuals....don't know about other scenery such as stadiums, etc...As for clouds, a major focus of FS2004 was the improved weather engine.... You can't take clouds rendered with a different engine and use them with an older engine like that found in FS2002...-John

What about textures? Can the FS2004 textures be copied over and used by FS2002?Stamatis

Ground textures can, certainly, but autogen may no longer line up since some textures were changed from their FS2002 counterparts...-John
