what are the ATI Omega drivers and where can I download them

They're a version of the Cat drivers; just tweaked for quality mostly. Many report they provide the best quality and best stability for gamers. Others don't particularly like em'. I use em' and think they're very good. You can download them at www.omegacorner.com ; but I'd wait till the drivers based on the Cat 3.8s are ready.

3.8 Omega drivers are ready

Just tested the 3.8 Omega's... don't see any difference other than the Kneeboard and Learning Center smearing is gone now. Now if we can just get something done with the screen flickering on menu changes...

thanks for the info the new cat drivers are a lot faster on the redraw for the porter I will check out he new Omega driver latter

The Omega drivers are more stable than the stock cat drivers.
