I try to be nice around here but a file uploaded today to Avsim has really got my goat. That is, a rather badly done replacement left-hand seat pilot for the defaut DC-3, by Peter Mess. To change the pilot to a white man because he is black by default is one thing - no harm in that if that is one's preference, we're all on this planet - but to put in the README that "I was told that the other guy is probably Bin Laden hemself" (sic) is nothing short of disgusting. Funny? Not to me, sunshine. Avsim, not my call, but I'd like to see that file gorn, gorn, gorn.I know this is not a political forum, but ..... well. The file name is new_pilot.zipMark "Dark Moment" Beaumonthttp://www.swiremariners.com/newlogo.jpg

Mark....Good catch...email the library admins.... In Phoenix, we're ashamed that one man targeted and killed a Sikh just after 9/11 because he had a beard and turban. He was just convicted of murder last week. Pete's upload promotes a stereotype--that Beard+Turban=Bin Laden. There's nothing political at all about being disgusted with such filth....-John

Agreed. That was a bit insensitive, no matter how much time has passed since 9/11.
