October 30, 201015 yr The VOZ switcher image comes up and it displays incorrectly. Is there any workaround for this apart from having to choose a suitable display resolution?
October 30, 201015 yr You know, I usually run in an oversize font. At 1920x1200, and even though I have a 24 inch monitor, the standard font is so small that I'd need to press my nose against the monitor to see it. So normally I run at 125% of the standard font at all times. This has lead to a number of issues with developers who like to overlay their dialogs with bitmaps. For instance with VOZ, the switcher dialog does not overlay the radio button for the region I want to fly in properly. I end up with more then one of the same background images in the dialog. It makes it really difficult, (or even impossible), to find which regional radio button to choose since they are duplicated and out of alignment. This is due to developers, (and I'm one), who don't bother to check the Windows system metrics before they display a dialog. It's pretty lazy programming in my opion. There are a number of other software manufacturers out there who haven't caught on to this too. Megascenery, GE Pro, Active Sky, and many, many more. Now I love their FS stuff but it really is a pain in the butt to have to change your font to a standard size each time you want to use their apps.Mark
