October 10, 200322 yr Hello All,Well, finaly I have the new system operating, P4 3.2 oc'd to 3.6, ASUS P4C800 E DELUXE,MB, and my old GeForce Ti4600 card. With everything max'd out, frame rates set at unlimited, and using Capt. Sims 727, (which in panel is a frame hog), I have only seen it drop to 15-16 fps once for just an instant, with the lowest other than that at 29. Sometimes the fps just gets way beyound the century mark and stays there while switching through the windows.Temps:Normal running on the op system, no fs, tems is about 90 F.Heavy usage for more than an hour with FS and FDC I've seen 125F.I have been told that if you keep the CPU below 130, you're doing very good on overclocking . . .anyone know for sure? Thanks in advance,Clayton T. October 10, 200322 yr Congrats on the new system... Good to see you again--I have a fondness for the USAF---my brother served back in the late 70's, and I live within sight of Luke AFB which has been a fantastic neighbor all these years.Don't know about the newer cpu temps... In the fall/winter, my study averages about 75 degrees and my cpu temp hovers around 37-38C.... In the summer, my study is closer to 80 and I've seen my cpu temps run in the 40-45C range. It's a P3/800, which I think would run a bit cooler than yours--and I don't O/C... Sounds like you're in the ballpark...-John
