October 14, 200322 yr I'm using Lear 45 in FS9 and I cannot find a way to control the red beacon from the panel. I'm hoping someone can help me.The 2D panel lets me control the navigation lights+panel lights, the white strobe, and the landing lights. The 3D panel also has an independent switch for the taxi lights. If I want to control just the panel light I can use the key command, Shift+L.If I use the L key, it turns on all lights including the red beacon, or it turns off all lights. But there doesn't appear to be any way to independently control the red beacon without affecting the other lights.I also find it odd that the 2D and 3D panels indicate BCN/STROBE on one of the switches, but it only controls the strobe. Is this an oversight (bug) by Microsoft?I'm hoping someone knows what's going on here, because I've punched all of the Ctrl and Shift key combos with no success.Bruce
October 14, 200322 yr Turn all the lights on with the l key than hit, ctrl L to turn off the landing lights. If the strobe is still on hit the O key. Usuall y the beacon remains on. Kind of round about but it works. Used to be the o key would work the beacon but now all planes coming out has it turn on the strobes. Maybe someone else knows a shorter method.
