FS 2004-Need Help on 2 Problems

Now that the Radeon Omega 2.4.96 drivers have solved my basic video problems, two others have cropped up.I've uninstalled-reinstalled FS 2004 a couple of times, but the two problems remain constant.Hopefully some of you folks will have some suggested solutions.1)All my FS 2004 "settings" revert to "default" following closing the Simulator and, later, restarting for another flight . . . so, all have to be reset again.Is this normal or is there a way to establish the "settings" once and for all??2)Every time I attempt to close down the Simulator, it reverts to a frozen small black screen (with the usual menus that are inoperative) on my desktop which, after 20-30 seconds then brings up the usual Microsoft Error Screen with the message "Microsoft Flight Simulator 9.0 has encountered an error and needs to close".Clicking one of the familiar "Send" - "Don't Send" buttons then clears the screen and the Simulator is then shut down.I'm using:Dell 8250-P4 3GHz2 GB RDRAMWindows XP HomeITI Radeon 9700 Pro Video Adapter with Omega Drivers 2.4.96Any help will be greatly appreciated.Jim Turnbull10/15/03
