November 6, 201015 yr ....anyone have any clever tips as to how I can find out which bit of scenery is causing my FSX to be flooded !!Most of Europe seems to be underwater, and short of removing all scenery and starting again I was wondering if there were any clever little tools that would enable me to find out what's causing the problem?FSX takes an age to generate my flight now, which I assume is a result of this rogue scenery that's flooded everywhere!
November 6, 201015 yr Kind of a standard response. Disable all add on scenery within FSX and go check things out. If it's OK, then start adding portions back and check it out. Depending upon what is in your scenery.cfg file, you might add back 50% or 25% or 10% at a time. Sooner or later your FSX will revert back to what you're seeing and you know it's the last batch added. Then you can work on isolating which area is causing the problem. With FSX you are able to activate scenery layers without having to restart the game.
