If the graphics card runs out of memory, with AGP it does have the option to use your regular RAM.It does not use the regular BUS, but a special faster bus called AGP.the multiplie means how fast it is then the original AGP bus.Right now 8xAGP is the fastest.On ATI cards you can see it under Smart Gear. not sure about nvidia.About the TextureAGP, just try it and see if you getting improved perforamance or not.
