fspainter a320, model?

I have tryed a couple of different FDE files but still have a problem getting the aircraft to turn(very little turn at best). Is there something built into the aircraft's model file that might cause this? I notice on the panel I am using that rather the rudder indicator showing movement when turning the yoke left(no rudder pedals here, autorudder)it instead shows spoiler/speedbrake movement. No indication at all when turning right. I know this is an AI model but never had this turn problem with other aircraft.thanks
