October 17, 200322 yr Hi - new Forum user here..I have the PMDG 7377 and am pretty happy with it for the most part. One of the coolest features is the "rumble" noise that plays when you activate the spoilers. Here's my problem. I HATE the panel that came with the aircraft. Personally it's too complicated for me (at this point anyway) and I'm more interested in simpler panels. When I placed a new panel in the aircraft's folder, everything is glorious except - NO spoiler rumble. :(I've found the .wav file that creates the sound. However, I can't find any code in any of the .cfg files - sound, aircraft, panel, etc, that control the activation noise. Does anyone have any idea where this resides? It would seem to me that, given the panel itself is the only thing that's changed, the .wav file would be called by panel.cfg. Flap sounds are called by the sound.cfg file.Help! Much appreciated. I know alot of folks want to export this "rumble" to other aircraft as well, and possibly figure out a way to add it to gear extention. Thanks,
October 17, 200322 yr Actually since the earlier versions of FS, devs have been using gauge files to play sounds that FS can't associate with any action (Remember FPDA's gear wind sound?) Perhaps someone familiar with their structure can chime in here...
