October 19, 200322 yr Does someone have an idea how to get japanese fonts to paint the japanese airlines like ANA with japanese titles or Hainan with chinese titles? I only have one font with all letters, but it not the right one. Thanks - Oli
October 19, 200322 yr More complicated than you think, but I'm here to help!Assuming Windows XP here, go to Start/Help and Support and do a search for IME, it explains it all nicely from there.
October 20, 200322 yr I need this font identified, I know the letters but not the font:http://www.airliners.net/open.file/264731/M/Thanks
October 20, 200322 yr Ugh, on your own here. Only way I can think is to look through the WinXP charachter map and compare. There's a chance the font isn't in there at all, (there's literally many hundreds of Japanese fonts), and there's a good chance that an artist did this and didn't use any known fonts.
October 21, 200322 yr I've never done repaints for FS, my guess would be a paintshop-ish program. I use Gimp for Windows myself: http://www.wingimp.org/ It's free and really powerful. You could put a known font in using add text, then beef it up to look like the one on the plane. This is Batang Che font, I'm guessing it's a windows default font. Seems close:全日荃Dunno if you can see, but there's 3 charachters above this line :(.Good luck man.
