Project AI Vs UT....

Featured Replies

I'm currently using Project AI and have no problems. Is there any reason to upgrade to UT?Thanks in advance

Ket,PAI is great and the best thing about it, it's free! Thank God for all these great people who devote their time to make such a fantastic product for the good of the hobby. Because there is no official patch for UT for FS9 yet, I'm using PAI and loving it. One main thing that UT offers as a whole, is automation for everything and a bunch of extras. All in all, a great investment ($29.95 I think?) and it even comes with AFCADs (will be a bit before the FS9 ones come out), real life timetables, a Palmspotter with arrival and departure times and lots of other goodies. Plus, there's a lot more airlines than PAI. All in all, check in on the Ultimate Traffic forums before buying because it only fully works for FS2002 (I say fully because you can get it to work in FS9, but I'd wait for the official patch.) Other wise, I'd just enjoy the awesome (and free) PAI packages!MaulArea51Intel

Just as an FYI - PAI contributed many of its AI models to Ultimate Traffic.

Any word on when Ultimate Traffic will be available. I have been looking forward to that.

Hi mike, Any words on why use UT over Project AI???

Hi Ket,I will probably use AI, but am very interested to see what UT has to offer as they need to remain competative, especially with a free product. If UT has something that is worth the cost of the app, then then I will gladly make the purchase. If not, then I will stick with AI. One thing, however, I do like the fact that actual flight scheduling is used. Not critical, but kind of cool.

Your purchase of UT helps fund PAI's operational costs, we appreciate the support! :-wavehttp://fsgateway.com/frank/fs9paibeta.jpg
