Joystick turns to the right

Featured Replies

I havent played FS for a while now, been almost a year. Too busy with flight school and working to afford it. Anyway, the last time i had played FS was when i had Windows Vista on my computer and it worked great. My joystick has been sitting in my closet for when i had no time for FS. So now i have a new computer that i built with windows 7 on it and i installed FS X to it and my joystick, Saitek X52. When flying, it always turns to the right. The joystick is completely centered. I tried calibrating it and it still pulls to the right, no matter what plane and no matter the aircrafts CG. Any tips?

First off, what does the game controllers in control panel say when testing? Is it set to the right of center? Does it appear to twitch to the right? Confirm this by entering FSX and view from the 6 o'clock, do the ailerons appear to move as if the stick is moved to the right? If this is not the case and it appears stable, it may have something to do with fuel in right wing only or Realism Settings (Torque maxed to the right while P-factor and/or Gyro is at its minimimum setting to the left).

I know its not p factor or gyro since it does it on the ground while taxiing. all flight controls are level. I was thinking the same thing about fuel or CG but the CG is centered up and when opening fuel panel on the PMDG all tanks are exactly the same. I just jumped on the sim and flew a Cessna around flying approaches and ditnd have any issues, oddly enough. Its been doing this for the past few weeks. I guess if it starts again i can run through some of the things you suggested.I love computers but i hate them, they do keep me employed :)
