For those of you that have finished tweaking and are now flying (be it FS8 or FS9)........No doubt some of you already know about this....for those of you that dont, its a nice challenge for FS.I just looked at a CBS show "JAG" on TV that showed a C130 landing on an aircraft carrier with no brakes (faulty hydraulics) and no tail hook (C130 doesn't have one) by dumping fuel on final approach, (to lower the approach speed) and engaging reversers just before touchdown. And it stopped (with nose peaking over the other side of the ship). The carrier was moving at full speed of 42KTS together with a 3KT wind making an approach wind speed of 45KTS..(helped alot)Looked pretty bogus though.......you know TV already, but just before the credits, they showed a video of a C130 that actually did that landing in real life, as a small tribute to those NAVY pilots. So its possible.Wonder if it is in FS.....:-cool
