October 27, 200322 yr I've noticed that pressing 'B' in FS2004 sets the altimeter to 29.92. In previous versions, pressing 'B' set the altimeter to the pressure of the local field. Is there equivilent functionality in FS2K4 or is the old 'B' key behavior forever gone the way of the dodo bird?
October 27, 200322 yr I think(???) that 29.92 is the setting for higher altitudes irrespective of where you are. Kinda above all weather. The B key does work if you are at ground level, or are given new QNH by ATC. Also is weather changes it will set QNH.I asume you are using real weather.RonaldGlasgow
October 27, 200322 yr B sets altimiter to standard if you use PSS aircrafts, in that case, just re-assign reset altimiter to shift B or something.
October 27, 200322 yr That's what it was apparently. Changed to SHIFT+B and all is right and true in the universe :) Thanks..
