First post, please be patient. downloaded rex 2.0 from the flight sim store. download went fine however during the installation using the exe file it hangs up on "cabinet file rex2_5.cab corrupt". Checked the rex forum, numerous posts of problems but no real solutions. also sent a ticket into fss, with a suggestion to re download the file and try again. on attempt number 5. If anyone else has experienced this I would appreciate the help or another program that is similar without this download hassle. Running Windows XP, even defragged the hard drive. Thanks

How big is your "rex2_5.dat" file? It should be 665,600 kb. The entire download should be 4.06 GB.

If you are trying to download a file that large with only a browser, you're a dummy! :( Large files beg for a Download Manager. I think FSS may offer a version? If not and you use Firefox, here is one that I recommend because it does a great job and it's FREE! http://www.downthemall.net/

Reply from dummy, used the recommended download manager and it downloaded fine. The download manager at FSS obviously did not work. I really appreciate the fix, thanks, now on to GEX
