January 2, 201115 yr Because it might have been the review of X-Scenery's MU-2 on this site that pushed me into buying X-Plane and the MU-2 eighteen months ago!And unfortunately the blurry instrument textures on the MU-2 just as quickly pushed me out again. Specifically the altimeter - the setting window is always blurry and impossible to read. But no more! I've just made my first X-Plane instrument. It's a replacement altimeter with legible Kollsman window. Set QNH in confidence now! It's a stopgap until version 1.5 is released, which will have all the remaining 2d instruments replaced with beautiful 3d. See this update thread: http://forums.x-pilo...hp?topic=413.30Anyway my amateurish bodge is available from x-plane.org here: http://forums.x-plan...&showfile=12337
January 4, 201115 yr Hi Dozer !Sorry for the late answer. I'm using the MU-2, and I'm also using "Visual Altimeter". It's useful for every plane.http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?autocom=downloads&showfile=2458Best regards and happy flying. :( Georges - OpenStreetMap - Ubuntu GNU/Linux -
