October 30, 200322 yr I installed the BOS afcad a few nights ag and did some modification.First off (and I knew this before afcad 2 came out) Terminal C,D,E are messed up :) there are two legs to terminal C that are 'T' shaped- they are far too close together- IRL, there are some decent plane spotting areas there with lots of windows, plus there are 3 gates down the shaft of the 'T' Good luck witht he default :)The space between terminal B and C has a gate that can fit a 747- Virgin used to use it for their London departures. Customs is only in Terminal E, so all international arrivals are there.More importantly, the AFCAD is messed up Imho- USA and USAX are sharing too amny gates in terminal B, AALX has taken over the USA terminal- USA has one sie- close to terminal A, AAL has the other, close to terminal C.I changed all of the gates there to reflect that the express/Eagle carriers will use remote parking and bus to them, adding that parking. Works much beter :)However I can't wait for the new Boston Scenery to come out. should be soon as AFCAD is released!I finally found some information on the new Terminal A at BOS- Delta's new terminal scheduled for opening next year. 25 gates in two concourses with all of DAL's operations under one(2) roofs- here's how it will look:http://www.mmm.ca/Images/fullsize/bostonairport.jpghttp://www.mmm.ca/Images/fullsize/bostondrawing.jpghttp://www.mmm.ca/Images/fullsize/bostonrendering.jpgThe total cost is ~400 Million dollars for this one facility!!DAL has aspirations to build something of a international hub hereas well, and US airways recently completed their addition to terminal B- adding gates that can support A330 operations.BOS currenly has no schedultled service to the UK other than Heathrow (BA, VS, AA) so there is potential.Tim
