2d pop panels not working

Featured Replies

Hi all,I need a little help with the pop up panel (Shift + 2) which brings up all three DU's and any advice would be great and much appreciated. I always fly in VC but now have the need to be able to display all three Display units up at the same time, hence shift +2, however, when I do this all three DU's are Blank! Now if I switch to a 2d cockpit the 3 display units become active and if I make changes to the flight plan, increase/decrease view etc. the corresponding information is displayed on both the pop-up panel and the DU. BUT if I switch back to VC although the 3 DU's remain active they are frozen and do not show any updated information/data. Also if I make any changes to the flight level or speed using the pop-up panel in vc although you can see the changes taking place in the vc nothing happens to the 2d pop up panel. This is of course a huge problem for me as I use an acer h5360 projector to display a life size image of the captains view out of the front of the plane so I see little if any of the instruments/displays so I use monitors below the screen to display PFD's, FMS, Auto-Flight panels etc. I have this same problem with the 2d pop up panel shift + 3. Yet if I use the pop up panel for the auto flight (shift + 5) I can change the flight level or speed and I see the changes in the 2d panel and in the vc. I love the MD-11 but am at present at a lost as how to fix this issue so that I can fly or am I just being a dunce and missing something here? Any help or advice would be very much appreciated. Many Thanks
