Jeppesen SIM CHARTS 2 and FS9

Hi Chaps, I have Sim charts 2 by Jeppesen and as usual am annoyed that the company say i need to purchase a new version to work within FS9. However.... Ive made a discovery regarding Jeppesen Sim Charts 2 and its compatibility with FS9. Install as usual but point the installer to FS9 in the usual way. Enter the codes for SIM Charts as normal. When launching FS9 you get the "detected incompatible software..do you want to load it?" message ( same as when using HostSB.) I loaded it and it worked. I then added the following line to the config ( NB added it below the Host SB entry under old modules.) [OldModules] HostSB.dll=1 SimViewJr.dll=1 It loads like a dream and the sim tracker worked also. I only tested it at EGNT, but had the tracker open in monitor 1, and Sim Chart open in monitor 2. Only possible differences could be the changed NAV data between Sim Charts 2, and FS9. But still should save the members a fortune replacing another product for FS9. Regards John
