POSKY A320 - Underpowered

Featured Replies

I cannot get the A320 Posky to lift off in FS9. It appears that the plane is woefully underpowered and just won't build airspeed. I am using it in a Project Magenta set-up with a 321 airfile config with CFM engines. Also, the Center of Gravity will not change at all no matter how I configure fuel and passengers! Any ideas here. I also have the same problem using the PSS320 which was copied over to FS9 from FS2000. Has anybody done this and should the configurations be tweaked.

do we have a A320? :-hmmm do you mean the A330, or a A320 by an other group? ;)

Hi Albert...Sorry, I do mean the 330 I loaded just last week...can't get it to alight from the runway. It's like the nose is glued to the ground. If I use a real long runway (11,000ft), it takes forever to reach 140 IAS and then if I rotate she lifts off and maintains maybe about 500 FPM Climb, no more.Di I need to do something here? Thanks Sal

first of all remember its still a FS2002 FDE (in case you use FS9) Also make sure you have the correct fuel. Also use the trim. Hope this helps, if not than please take a look at our forum

Thanks, I will check the forum...I did empty the tanks (no change to center 0f gravity)and tried various trim configurations...I think it may be the FDE though.

You're using an A321 airfile for an A330..........ummm....thats the reason. (A321=small engines, A330=big engines) = more thrust to bigger engines.
