November 21, 200322 yr The overcast thing with the 3D clouds was driving me crazy so I switched back to the 2D so I could shoot some approaches through an overcast layer and it is still not generating an overcast layer. Does anyone know what is going on?ThanksKevinAthlon 2600+Win2000512 Ram5600FX 256MB video
November 21, 200322 yr You could try to add 2-3 cloud layers manually in the cloud page in weather settings - maybe more on top of eachother, that seems to do the trick to get at least 80-90% overcast.
November 21, 200322 yr OK, but what about when using real weather? It seems so screwed up that it can't generate an overcast layer even with simple clouds.
November 21, 200322 yr Author Make sure you've set the cloud coverage density to maximum (on the Display properties box, on the weather tab). You probably lowered this setting before when using 3D clouds to keep FPS up (who hasn't?). Joe Wagner
