Missing Aircraft Textures

Featured Replies

Fellow simmers,I have come upon a problem yet not expirienced by myself. Maybe someone has and can point me in the right direction. Here is the problem, I decided to redownload two aircraft that I purchased awhile back. After downloading the A/C and running setup I run FSX and choose my A/C. The A/C's im talking about FSD PC-6 and CLS DC-10 and the new free CLS Piper. When i select the A/C I see the textures initally but once I enter into FSX the A/C are white and so are the VC's. I have never had this problem before, has anyone expirienced this before.Thank you,System:EVGA 3X SLI x58 MBI7-980X O.C-4.8GHZ10GB Kingston DDR32X 15,000RPM 150GB HDEVGA GTX 470 GCPS. This set up has made FSX a joy for me no problems at all with all my addons.

Are you running Vista or Win7 and have the DX-10 Preview turned on?

I apologize for forgetting to mention that, I am running WIN 7pro with DX 10 Turned on.

Meshman, I have been using DX 10 for so long that I fogot these older airplanes are not DX 10 compatible. My problem is now solved thank you Sir!

Glad you got it working correctly. I think I'd have a list made up of what did work with the Preview and what didn't, just so I could keep track of these quirky things.
