When i was trying to install the PMDG 747-8i expansion the install wizard said localization failure and it gave me a error code 0024741 i purchased the 747-400X with a different account someone please help

I had the exact same problem, other than an other error code.But my problem was indeed the fact that I purchased the 747-8i/F on my own account, while the 747-400X was ordered on my father's account.PMDG transfered the old orders to my own account and my installation succeeded.Perhaps you should file a ticket at customer support and explain your situation, so they can move your orders to the correct account.Or otherwise they should implement their installers so that it doesn't matter on which account the original aircraft was bought, as long as it's installed and valid.
