New Joystick Recommendations?

Good morning. My MS FF2 broke last week and I went out and bought a Saitek x45 setup. I know it's a very nice setup but I was wondering what the next step up would be? Some here say that the next step would add a lot of expense, but I'm curious what it is. I'm not looking for a flight yoke but rather a stick/throttle combo.
