I was fiddling around in the ATI advanced settings and noticed I could assign key combinations to adjust gamma, contrast and brightness from inside a game in full screen 3D. Trouble is that I can't get any combination to actually work in FS9. Has anyone tried this and got it to work?

I think that I had it working when I first got my ATI card (in the Cat 3.7 days) but, like you, I can't make it work now. Saddly, I no longer have the old drivers to see if I am remembering correctly. R-
