FS disconnected in ASv6

Featured Replies

Hello! I have problem with my ActiveSky 6.5 version and FS9. I do and set everything as described in FAQ on this forum. When I run FS, AS says that FS is not yet connected. I've read a lot about it on this forum. I've installed 3 or four different FSUIPC versions but it didn't help, even with the newest one - 3.98. Further more, I've tried to delete key file from modules folder, and turn off firewall. However, it's still disconnected. I dont know exactly what else I can do. Help if you can, please ;)Thanks

Hi,What OS are you using? What is your install path of FS and AS?Are you signed in under the computer's Administrator account?Single computer or network install?

OS: VistaAS path: Flight Simulator 9\Modules\ASv6\I run AS and FS as administrator (OS propably normally does it, but to be sure, I right click on AS and FS and select "run as administrator")It's a single computerEDIT:It works!!! :) I have to admit that I wrote about right clicking and run as administrator first, then try it ;) And it works! Thank You so much, I didn't expect so easy solution ;)Regards

Hi,OK, when you get a chance, don't run As Administrator. Just left mouse click on both the AS and FS icons and then see what happens. I'll be around all day to keep coming back to this thread.
