November 25, 200322 yr Love the Fanda, but I want to get more complete panel with bigger gauges and FMC. Heard sounds of PSS aren't as good, and a lot of the buttons don't work. (or at least as many as Fanda's.) Should I just wait for the Flight1 ATR? When is it coming out?P4 2.81024 DDRAM800 Bus36 gig SATA hardrive80 gig harddriveATI Radeon 9700 ProCH yoke/pedalsElite Multi quadrant- serial19" inch monitor-Soundblaster PCI 512Win XPCommercial ASEL- Instrument 292 hoursAOPALawyerPilots Bar AssociationNTSB Bar Association"Men without dreams are never free, twas thus this way and thus will ever be."
November 25, 200322 yr LOL I could give you a totally biased opinion, but I won't. I've got both and I'll tell ya, I havne't flown the PSS Dash 8 since I downloaded the Fanda Dash 8. For me it comes down to this $25 to support a payware company and get some nice manuals to print out. I'm all about supporting payware though, without them and freeware authors, this hobby wouldn't be what it is today. That being said, have you tried the panel.cfg changes by Gord Noseworthy? They do wonders for the side panels."Love the Fanda, but I want to get more complete panel with bigger gauges and FMC"Not sure what you mean here. I don't think there is a more complete AIRCRAFT (systems-wise) for MSFS available, and the Fanda Dash 8 has an FMC that works just fine, albeit without a lot of bells and whistles. I use it though just fine on VATSIM.
November 25, 200322 yr Once again, you have immense wisdom. I forgot to make the changes to the .cfg for the size. Everything else, including trim works now..great plane overall, including the FMC. I am eagerly awaiting the ATR as well. I hope that the partnership is not just a marketing scam...
November 25, 200322 yr Um, it's coming from Dreamfleet, based off of what they accomplished with DF737, I'm expecting great things from the ATR.Only problem is, I'm not an ATR fan. Nice looking plane, but the panel, to me looks so '70's (LOL).If you like the Fanda Dash 8-300, wait until he releases the Dash 8-400, that should be a fantastic plane.
