Hello it was really weird i was getting 10-19 fps at EDDF and then i turned DX 10 on and got frames of 40-50 i was shocked i have and ATI m. Radeon 5650 with 1 gb. Why would i have such a performance jump from just turning on DX-10.

It should work better since FSX was programmed for DX10 via SP2 but unfortunately it was done hurriedly. I have seen the fps increases too but do not use it anymore because it creates flickering on several airport runways and other anomalies. If the Microsoft Aces Team had stayed in business a little longer, maybe we would have seen further improvements to DX10.Best regards,Jim
