May 15, 201115 yr Hi Johnny,You can visit the following link and get to know more about it : http://vas-project.org/A quote from the website : vasFMC developed since 2005 is, at that time under the name simpleFMC. The aim was, in Microsoft Flight Simulator routes departing to aeronautical charts for current, as operations are used in the real. This was usually possible only with the FMCs of add-on aircraft. In this mostly as payware aircraft available, but the FMC is deeply integrated in such a way that use with others (eg freeware -) aircraft is not possible. simpleFMC was however not bound to a particular aircraft and allowed to navigate along routes and real with actual AIRAC data. simpleFMC allowed to enter the route as a sequence of airways and waypoints ( ICAO format) via a simple GUI and put them on a modeled on the Airbus "Navigational Display (ND).From what I understand, it is a freeware utility that will place a CDU in your aircraft for use as real world operations. Instead of getting a fully functional payware aircraft, simpleFMC would be the freeware alternative.Hope this helps.Cheers
