Trouble Installing Flight Simulator 2004

Hey, guys,I just joined here, this is my second post. I posted this in the Hangar forum, got no replies. So I'll try here.I have a Compaq Evo N1000v Notebook, Pentium IV, 256 Meg of RAM, Radeon Mobility 7500 video card, and plenty of hard disk space. But I can't get FS 2004 to run. It freezes on me at the opening screen. I did the full install, which went okay. But it froze on me. So I uninstalled it, then reinstalled it using the Custom install, Compact version. Still no joy. I went to Microsoft Support for the game, tried the various suggestions mentioned there. Still no joy. BTW, I live in Mexico. A phone call to Microsoft Tech Support could get expensive.Could anyone help me with this?
