how to fix throttle oscillations

Featured Replies

hi all I don't know if this is the proper forum to address this issue but i was wondering how one can fix oscillating throttles in various aircraft. right now I have a problem with the ariane 737-300 (using their own panel) when on take off it will accelerate and then all of a sudden decelerate and the N1 speeds seem to low to be very realistic at any given weight or FL. do i need to adjust the engine parameters in the aircraft.cfg file or is it more complicated than that? appreciate any advice on this topic

You're really talking about more then one issue here. If you're giving throttle control to the autopilot then what you're seeing is a function of that device. Some changes can be made in the [AUTOPILOT] section of the CFG. When you're talking about N1 not seeming right, that's a different issue. What are you basing this on? I wouldn't make any changes to the acf unless you have solid POH data for that aircraft that will give you N1 settings for specific speeds and weights. TonyDigital-Flight
