Learjet 45 cold/dark cockpit engine-start question

I was trying to start the Learjet 45 w/o using any shortcut keys. I found a forum comment (not this forum) that states there is no switch in that particular cockpit to start fuel flow, so one has to use CTL-SHIFT-F4 before engine start. Is it true there is no way to avoid using key combos for an engine start in that cockpit? (using C-S-F4, I have no trouble starting engines. w/o it, engines shut down in a few moments)
