June 3, 201115 yr Hello All, Was using flt sim9 with winxp for years. This year bought a new computer (very beefy, I may add lol) Windows7 64bit . For the most part it runs great. Recently it has been crashing to desk top. Could it be a corrupt 3rd party scenery file and if so, is there software which I can purchase to detect a corrupt file. I am suspecting it could be a BGL file. Thanks for the help!

Sometimes aircraft.ScanAFD is in AVSIM library, it searches for double afcad files. But you should start deactivating sceneries until you get rid of the problem (easy way). Not a 100% solution.FS9 reinstall - a hard way. But still must not mean that it's gonna work. And what I'd like to clarify if it's a typical CTD, or do you get an error message?
