An IPOD based product for FSX

Hello All,I am new to the forum scene, but have come across a few add-ons for FS2004 that allow music and movies to be played in flight sim. I started thinking why can't this be expanded to allow more. Although Computer programing is not one of my strong points, I would like to have a kick at the can with this project. I am thinking something that looked and worked like an IPOD that would allow you to access your DVD-ROM, Music Files, Video Files, Internet and email. I am looking for suggestions on how to achieve this feature and am open to anyones comments on how to do it, if it can be done and how to bridge the gap between fsx and your computer. Thanks Greg
