Problems with SDK or docs

I had some problems with the FSEdit SDK and found some interesting things I wanted to pass on. In my case, the doc file was corrupt and failed on a figure in the document. Word would error out and try to recover. I removed all the files from the SDK folder and reinstalled but still had the problems. I downloaded a second copy of the SDK installer from Microsoft and still had the problem. However I finally fixed it by using the "remove SDK" function from the installer (this shows up in the menu after the first installation) and then made a "clean" reinstall and all works fine now.So if you have similar problems, try the remove function and then do a new install.Happy Holiday Bob
