December 11, 200322 yr This is part of the Text included in the presentation of the FSEDIT, one of the SDK released today, I might be a misunderstanding from my part due to my lack of knowledge of the english language, it seems to imply that one would be able to edit an existing Visual model of an AC??Opinions, please...."This editor does not provide a visual model for your aircraft. To create a visual model, you must create a new 3-D model or edit an existing visual model with the gmax tool created by discreet and provided in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004. "
December 11, 200322 yr <<>I fear not, G, I think it's saying the opposite. Visual model creation and editing can only be done with GMAX or a large hammer through your monitor; but the latter is a terminal alteration.Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumonthttp://www.swiremariners.com/newlogo.jpg _________________________ Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumont VP Fleet, DC-3 Airways Team Member, MAAM-SIM
December 11, 200322 yr I agree, they mean you can create and edit a visual model in GMAX, not edit an existing .mdl file with GMAX.>Visual model creation and editing can only be done with GMAX or a large hammer through your monitor; but the latter is a terminal alteration.<:-lol Was that "terminal alteration" an intentional pun Mark? For instance: the large hammer has terminated the computer monitor, or the large hammer has altered the computer terminal!
December 11, 200322 yr Douglas, you have to be English, to hunt the pun in such a way. That one just slotted into place, in any case; no wonder I make my mother bored. December 11, 200322 yr I wasn't actually hunting it, but it sure jumped out at me!My ancestors were chased out of England long ago, probably at gunpoint or by a large crowd of decent law-abiding citizens carrying torches and ropes. I do love puns and wordplay, although I find that other people don't usually share my appreciation and enthusiasm for that sort of thing. I'm not sure why. Thanks for the laugh!
