CH pedals problem

Hi guys I have had both the CH yoke and pedals working on my system now for about 18 months using XP. But recently after an XP update the pedals are not recognised. If i go through the turn off disconnect the USB connection then recconect windows pulls up a message stating there is an error and there is a problem with recognising the hardware connected. I tried a restore point or two and even resorted to a clean install but still alas nothing. Then I wrote to CH and they said the USB system I have SiS, is not compatible with the pedals and it was my problem not theirs! Bizare as they have worked fine now for a period of time. Has anyone experienced or heard of this problem before and if so any advice you could give me on rectification would be greatfully recieved. I can not even find any drivers dedicated to the pedals on the disks supplied, it lists all of the other CH products but no pedals. Any help with this would be great Liam
