fs9 weather problem

Featured Replies

I've seen this issue posted here and there and I've got the probelm too. Can anyone help? fs9 real weather static - sets up fine, flight goes OK (the usual probelm with fs9 tranparent clouds), but on arrival, seems like the destination weather crashes...winds and visibility are always preserved but clouds go CLEAR. I've tried this alone and with active sky cannot get my destination to be right. thanks for any help

Don't know if it works, but have you tried setting dynamic weather changes to "none"?-halabraham

thanks but I thought of that. Its been on none. It does behave as though something dynamic is happening but I think its something about reaching a cetrain altitude as it only happens on approach. If I then check inside fs9 weather. Its no longer on real weather but has switched to user defined which is registering the clear sky. The winds and visibility are always preserved but the clouds and preciptaion are a GONER. sucks.

Just to prove when and where its happening, why don't you set up a flight, then use the "Goto Airport" function to go to the destination and see what the weather is like. Next, reset your flight and fly to the destination. If the conditions have changed in the time that it takes you to fly there, then you'll know something within the Sim is changing it. R-

thanks, I'll try that
