Briefing Pad for FS 2004

Featured Replies

I've noticed in the kneeboard that there is a tab for a flight briefing. I'm sure that's intended for use with some of the adventures that can be written. I've noticed in all my flights it's blank. I'd like to use it like a notepad. What file would I need to edit to put info that I would want displayed for my particular flight? Suppose, for example, I wanted to record a navaid frequency for a particular approach. Where could I put this so that it would show up on that tab of the kneeboard? Can this be edited in flight?BobL

I think.....meaning I am not sure...that you can create a document in word, save it as a .htm file with the same name as the flight you are documenting, and place the htm file in the same folder as the flight file......for instance, if your flight is: dc3 at anchorage.fltcreate a word file called "dc3 at anchorage" and save it as .htm. Then place it in the same folder that you find the "dc3 at anchorage.flt" file in........probably under "Flight Simulator Files" located in MY DOCUMENTS.Like I said, I havn't tested this, but I think it will work.banner1.gif

I just tested this method and it works fine. What will happen, is when you select the flight, you will be taken to the "Clipboard" which will display the HTML file you created for the flight, then you click on the OKAY button, and away you go.banner1.gif

Thank youI'll give it a try in the morning...BobL
