December 14, 200322 yr Ok..I have tried to change the location of my tower, so that I get the correct view. I have skewed over to the tower, copied the coordinates, and plugged them into AFCAD, but I still get a view thats a million miles from the airport (not really, but close enough) How do I get the right tower view? Thanks, Jeff
December 14, 200322 yr If you go to map view, click on the tower and just drag it to were you want it, I like to put it right along side the runway, then after landing run instant video to see my landing realy close up, hope that helps. Nick in the UK.
December 14, 200322 yr I ran into the same thing...From the AFCAD FAQ's:I moved or added the tower symbol, but the tower view point didn't changeThis can occur if you start at an airport using the default flight, or any saved flight. When you save a flight in FS it saves the tower view point along with all the other flight parameters, so if you change the view point it will be overridden when you recall a saved flight. The settings for a saved flight are contained in text files with the extension ".FLT" in the folder FS9/Flights/other/ . You can easily find the tower location in the .FLT text file and modify it to ensure your saved flight uses the new tower view point. The tower location looks like the following:[Tower]Latitude=N049
