December 14, 200322 yr I've put in recently all 3 versions of the FFX/SGA 737's. I've got a very nice Air France repaint of the 300 that shows up in the sim beautifully because the main textures have an alpha channel. The only version of the 500 Air France livery doesn't, and gets kind of 'blurred' when seen from hard angles. Can anybody explain to me how I can add an alpha layer to the textures on the 500? I want it to look as good as this:http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/52649.jpgThanks in advance!Scott
December 14, 200322 yr It is not the Alpha that does that. You need to remove the mip-maps with Imagetool. First, you open the file with imagetool. Then you go to the "View" taskbar. Then you go to mip maps. Then select "extract". Then you go to the file that has _0 at the end. Overwrite the original file with this one. (You will have ot change the filename.) Do this with ALL affected bitmaps. Good Luck-JH
December 14, 200322 yr I've already removed the mip-maps. There are a few smaller GA aircraft from FS2002 that exhibit the same tendencies (i.e. - C182RG) even with their mips removed. That was the only correlation I was able to come up with!Scott
December 15, 200322 yr Ok, dug around on some other sites, and I found the 500 repaint I wanted...http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/52790.jpg
