FSX error message?

Featured Replies

Hi all, I just purchased a new FSX Gold Edition, after doing a new fresh install FSX will work and activate fine. However after installing the Acceleration disc and then attempting to open up FSX I am getting an error message saying that " FSX is unable to load some program files ". If I uninstall the Acceleration pack, FSX will open and run fine with no error message. I have Googled the issue and found that many other people have had the same thing happen but I can't seem to find a solution. Does anyone have a clue or suggestion that may fix this issue? Thanks for any help, Hogans.

Did you disable Windows UAC and any anti-virus program before installing? Unknown what Windows version you are using but you also need versions of dotnet (google) and Microsoft Visuals C++ Redistributables that developers use to properly install software.Best regards,Jim
